Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Certifications: BLS, RDCS, RDCS - RVT Must-Have: Required certifications include RDCS RVT / RDCS / BLS. Candidates must be dual certified as a vascular and echo sonographer. Description: This position requires a dual certification in vascular and echo sonography. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday from 07:30 AM to 05:00 PM, and Friday from 07:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Total work hours amount to 40 per week. There are no weekend shifts. Staff will be required to perform echocardiograms and vascular studies for patients. The selected candidate will work in a high-volume cardiac outpatient practice. Common procedures include echocardiograms, carotid studies, renal studies, and duplex studies. Candidates must have experience with adult outpatient care and isolation precautions. Travel experience is required for this position. Applicants must have a minimum of one year of experience with EMR systems.
